Sheeeeeee's Baaaaaacccckkkk

Hi there!
Have you all missed me?
I know those of you sending "reminder" emails and "reminder" phone calls have! Seriously thank you to all my lovely friends who were concerned about me after my last post and without a recent update (*hugs* Kristy!).

So, Ya want the news? The big news mentioned a month or so ago?

Well, we're moving to Michigan. Yep. We're off on a family adventure to conquer the Great Lakes state. Well, almost definitely we are going, kind of. I have decided not to bore all of you with constant moving woes (well, we'll see how that goes).

I have tons of pictures to share, and lots to catch ya'll up on... so stay tuned.
Meanwhile, here is the article that inspired me to return to the blogosphere, I felt it had to be repeated (again, and again, and again).

Stay-at-home mother's work worth $138,095 a year
Wed May 2, 3:00 PM ET
If the typical stay-at-home mother in the United States were paid for her work as a housekeeper, cook and psychologist among other roles, she would earn $138,095 a year, according to research released on Wednesday.
This reflected a 3 percent raise from last year's $134,121, according to Salary.com Inc, Waltham, Massachusetts-based compensation experts.
The 10 jobs listed as comprising a mother's work were housekeeper, cook, day care center teacher, laundry machine operator, van driver, facilities manager, janitor, computer operator, chief executive officer and psychologist, it said.
The typical mother puts in a 92-hour work week, it said, working 40 hours at base pay and 52 hours overtime.
A mother who holds full-time job outside the home would earn an additional $85,939 for the work she does at home, Salary.com.
Last year she would have earned $85,876 for her at-home work, it said.
Salary.com compiled the online responses of 26,000 stay-at-home mothers and 14,000 mothers who also work outside the home.

You're back! I missed you! Yes we do need to catch up on the phone! I'll keep trying too. It's easier when Ty's down for a nap....he's so BUSY!

I believe I should be making that kind of money! I bring Ty to work with me. Never a break! I could only wish I could get that kind of salary....not here in the Bootheel. I do work, but for next to nothing. And I make more than most here! Ugh!

On the fertility note, I'd love to discuss as well...I'm thinking surgery if I don't get pregnant this month. It'll be #8. Eee-ouch! I said I'd give these hormones 4 months, but the pain is a bit much. If I get pregnant right away (as in a year and 3 months of trying...after the birth of Ty)...then I won't worry about it, since I feel GREAT pregnant...

Well, hope we can connect soon!

Glad you're back!

Personally I think we should all make millions just for being the ones to go through childbirth - don't you?! Ouch.

Kristy, I could not figure out what the heck a Bootheel was so googled it. I was reading it Booth Eel. Not Boot Heel! I don't really get it though, I can't quite picture a boot heel when I look at that map. What am I missing?
