103.5

The title refers to .... my temperature! Uh! I finally get all kiddies healthy and off to school and then I get it. Not cool.

Today my temp is a cool 101.5 and I feel like I got run over by a mack truck named Horace. Luckily my DH was able to stay home yesterday (whew! with no school and all three lovelies home I think i would have had a challenging day) and for at least some (if not all) of today.

So, the final question - doctor or not? I think I just have a virus that will hopefully go away with time????

Back to bed for me - I hope that all of you stay healthy!

Hey Sweetie

It's really no wonder you are sick now, after taking care of all the other sick ones for so long. I'm glad Jeff is there to help out. Just take it easy, get lots of rest and drink lots of OJ. If the fever hangs on for more than another day, I'd go to the doctor, but it does seem to be going down a little (from 103.5 to 101.5 isn't much, but it's still the right direction)so for now you're probably best to stay inside, in bed, under the covers, because going out in the cold with a fever isn't the healthiest thing to do, even if it is to go to the doctor. So stay put and feel better. Let us know when your feeling better. I wish I was closer and could help somehow. Anyway, you take good care and get better soon. Love you... Kim

Oh, I can't believe Horace got to you! I've had him plow through my bedroom a few times and he is a big freaking meanie!!! Someone should do something about him! We need a Horacil! Yup, an anti-Mack truck vaccination! We'll be rich! Let's start lobbying now - make our government mandate it so if there are any really horrible side effects of Horacil, we can't be sued - it will be the government's liability! Oh, that way our taxes can go up too. And our insurance premiums can go up! Let's make it a series of 4 shots! Yeah - lets crank it up to 4! No, wait - 11!!! Let's turn it up to 11. How much should we charge per shot? $130.00??? Oh and lets not study it out past a couple of years so everyone will be prepared when they have to start paying for the booster shots!

Um, *blushing a bit,* am I getting carried away or are you in????

Most importantly though - I hope you feel better soon!!!!!

Thank you both for your kind sentiments. Spinny if we could make a Horacil vaccine we'd be rich!

So far I feel better but my body is sore. Made it another day with no doctor though.

How annoying is that word verification thing?? Not too bad I hope.

Nah, the word verification thing is fine. In fact, it's a great idea. One of these days you'll have to teach me how to do it. Plus, I'm learning so many new words, for example, the current one, "ulfkat". Now what do you suppose that means? It seems a good word, so I think we should start inventing meanings for the word we must verify. What do you think? Anyway, glad to hear you're mending. ;)

Jenny,

I hope you continue to feel better! I don't think the word thing is that bad. Lots of blogs do it and your letters are not so hard to read. Some places it take me 2, 3 tries - but yours I'm acing! So far at least -- the one below looks like a tuffy! I think it is yyllxrnc which I think means "when you are done with it, stick it in your ear." But I'm not sure...

Hope you get to feeling better soon! What sucks more than being sick? A sick husband. Luckily, I don't get sick often, but Chad?? If he has a sniffle, you'd think someone had amputated his right arm! "Baby" doesn't even begin to describe his behavior!!

How's the weather? It's fridgid here...9 degrees this morning. But NO SNOW! I miss CT and the New England winters....

Well, feel better soon!

Kristy
